In all things of nature, there is something of the marvellous.” - Aristotle. I am an anxious Mother and have this deep felt desire to leave behind a better world for our children, the Inheritors of tomorrow\'s World. I wonder then, what am I leaving for my child? When I look out of the window, I see a beautiful sunrise - it’s a familiar sight, but it never fails to strike wonder deep inside me. How long will it remain like that? In light of the current crisis and the threat of climatic changes, I can’t help but ask - what kind of world are we leaving behind for our children? I’ve been writing for a while- stories and thoughts that have inspired and intrigued me since I was a child. Now, the topics of conservation, carbon emissions, climate change, and so on have become the rage. It’s nice to touch upon them to show that we care. But “showing” is not enough anymore. It\'s time for action. Time to bring forth the change. Time to fight for it, tooth and nail. Every action counts, no matter how small. Everybody’s action counts- even a child’s. As Smiley Banton put it, a sense of curiosity is nature’s original school of education. Well, who’s more curious than a child? And as I find a cosy nook to pen my thoughts down once again for a story - I’m no longer just a mum trying to leave a better world for my child. Or just an author trying to pen down a good story. I\'m fighting to save the planet. Fighting for all of us. I’m now putting all these thoughts and efforts into my upcoming book- The Angry Earth.
