I\'m an experienced Consultant, Programme and People Leader. I\'m able to quickly learn about new business areas and apply planning, problem-solving, organisational and stakeholder management skills - as well as solid experience in system design - to drive projects forward and increase the value added by appropriate use of technology. I have built teams from scratch with a mix of internal staff, contractors and 3rd party system integrators (both onshore and offshore)- leading on all aspects of recruitment, software and SI selection (writing and responding to RFPs, managing the bid process and commercial negotiation).I have a broad Retail / FMCG IT background including Stock Accounting, Supply Chain, Customer Data Analysis, Commercial / Buying Systems and Invoice Processing, as well as strong experience on Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing. However my more recent work has been with a wider range of customers - the common thread being that they all have complex requirements. Besides my technical knowledge of the Ab Initio suite I also have experience with the Oracle BI toolset and COBOL/DB2 in an IBM environment.I can act as Project Lead, Line Manager, Consultant or Account Manager (internal or external), bringing strong commercial awareness together with experience working as vendor, consultant and client.
