A client facing role in the Security and Defence sectors, interacting with clients of all types and sizes. Ranging from local individuals to government agencies, it has afforded me the experience of dealing with a wide variety of customers and the need to adapt as the situation requires.• Building and maintaining relationships, both domestically and internationally, with large focus on central Europe and the Middle East.• I cover not only business development but also product development and marketing within the business. In this role I have had a wide-reaching impact in moving the business forward.• I represent the company at trade bodies, having been actively involved with the Aerospace, Defence and Security trade body, ADS.• I lead a team of engineers which requires clear and consistent communication with the team. It also requires that I refresh the team members on relevant training and update them on new or changing regulation.• I am responsible for all export control compliance within the company, undertaking training at Cranfield University to ensure the demands for compliance are met.
