Most have raised $20m+, operate in complex industries, and are navigating the shift from early signs of product-market fit to repeatable growth. They are backed by world-class investors—including a16z, Founders Fund, Sequoia, and Thrive Capital—and work on everything from AI doctors to fintech infrastructure and enterprise AI transformation.I keep my perspective sharp by staying in the arena. I\'m an active board member at Tandem, a company I co-founded at Thrive Capital, where I focus on fundraising, strategy, recruiting, and business development. Tandem has raised >$100m at a $1bn valuation.Over the last decade, I’ve worked with exceptional coaches and teachers who helped transform my wins and losses into fuel for growth. That journey revealed how company building can be both a path of personal transformation and a force for human flourishing. Coaching founders is my way of paying that forward, supporting leaders whose work expands what’s possible for themselves and the world.I live in Brooklyn with my wife, an investment banker turned psychotherapist, and our supermutt, Blue.
