ABOUT JASON WILLIAMS

I am a partner at Bissinger, Oshman, Williams & Strasburger LLP and have a complex commercial litigation practice with a focus on construction litigation, securities and fiduciary litigation, and energy litigation. I represent both plaintiffs and defendants and have first-chair trial experience in both trials and arbitrations.Because of my engineering background, my practice generally focuses on disputes involving technology in three major areas. First, I have substantial experience in construction litigation, including construction defect claims, design errors and omissions claims, contractor termination matters, and construction delays. Second, I have substantial experience in securities and fiduciary litigation, including directors and officers liability, breach of fiduciary duty, derivative claims, and business divorces. Third, I have substantial experience in energy disputes, including drilling, pipelines, refining, energy trading, and trade secrets.I am a Texas native and graduated from St. John’s School in Houston. I earned my Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University in 1997. I earned my J.D, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center in 2004. While in law school, I was an Articles Editor for the Houston Law Review. I was a member of Order of the Barons and Order of the Coif. Prior to joining the firm, I was a Senior Associate with Fulbright & Jaworski LLP. Before attending law school, I worked for four years as a mechanical engineer in the manufacturing and construction industries.
