ABOUT JON WHITE

I am an experienced Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years of management and lead experience. I have built, managed and coordinated multiple project teams and have experience with leading change, recruitment, training and performance management. I have directly managed groups from 2 to 15 engineers and have experience of providing management cover for groups up to 85 designers and engineers. I have championed change and developed the core competences of the Piping Engineering Groups. My specialties are: • Managing multiple project teams and navigating diverse and complex challenges through strategic planning, critical thinking and decision making • Ensuring that schedule milestones are met, quality deliverables are produced and project and client expectations are exceeded • Coordinating effective and efficient inter departmental, inter project group and client communications to achieve business objectives • Defining work scope and budget estimates • Writing corporate procedures and specifications • Identifying and implementing process and organizational improvements I am a registered Professional Engineer with APEGA and have an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aston University in England as well as a Diploma in Management from Reading University in England.
