I educate, I train, and I improve customer experience.Working as a senior technical writer in the information technology, market data, and media industries, I create technical documentation for multiple outputs. My vast array of projects have ranged from traditional online help, user guides, quick start guides, and FAQs to training technical teams to creating and standardizing error messages to chairing a committee representing employees that created technical communication standards within the framework of the company\'s branding standards.Skills and experience include management and leadership, agile methodology, Author-it, Microsoft Office and Project, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, FrameMaker, Jira, Dreamweaver, Jive, SAP Business Objects, and MicroStrategy. I presented at the DITA East conference, attended the DocTrain conference, attended multiple Society for Technical Communication (STC) summits, and presented to community leaders at one STC summit. In addition to having been the president of the New York Metro chapter of the Society for Technical Communication for two years, I have held various leadership positions in the chapter.I speak, read, and write Japanese, having achieved the highest level (1) on the Japanese Proficiency Exam.
