About Jason Walker

As a pragmatic, passionate, introspective geek that loves to collaborate and think of solutions to difficult problems, I love the challenge of getting things to work. When starting a project, I first seek to understand the problem being addressed, the various use cases involved and the expectations of any solution. Understanding the problem, use cases and expectations requires collaboration, which I feel is very important to designing software. My focus during collaboration is listening to the stakeholders and their concerns to determine situations or constraints that require tradeoffs in the project.I carry some of my enjoyment for design and development into my spare time by working on personal projects involving game development and 3D printing. My passion for technically driven subject matter extends outside of software to include areas of interest in auto racing technology and military technologySpecialties: Software Design, Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Microservices, MongoDB, Domain Driven Design, API, JSON, Systems Integration, Team Collaboration
