Infrastructure engineer at AWS building container orchestration at scale. Marine Corps veteran and immigrant who learned to build resilient systems by thriving through adversity.I maintain the Fargate agent that powers serverless containers at AWS - infrastructure that millions of workloads depend on. Before AWS, I spent 7 years as an embedded software engineer at Motorola, built factory test systems for RFID chips at Impinj, and led DevOps transformations breaking monoliths into microservices.My technical foundation runs deep: Master\'s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (earned while working full-time), professional certifications in machine learning, and continuous learning through MOOCs. But my approach to engineering was shaped before any of that - in Iraq as a Marine, where I learned what \"mission-critical\" really means.What drives me: I build infrastructure that works under pressure because I\'ve operated under pressure. I think about reliability, sustainability, and downstream impact because I understand that technical decisions ripple into real lives. As an immigrant who navigated systems not built for me, I build systems that work for everyone.What makes me different: I combine infrastructure engineering depth with unusual breadth - philosophy, literature, systems thinking. I don\'t just ask \"can we build this?\" but \"should we, and who does it serve?\" I believe the best technology is invisible until you need it, then absolutely dependable.Outside of work: I intellectually explore the universe through philosophy, science, and mathematics. I get deep joy from creating software that does something useful - whether it\'s spinning up containers at AWS scale or solving problems no one else has tackled yet.Currently focused on: Container orchestration at scale, infrastructure reliability, and the intersection of technical excellence and human impact.
