Designed new web application to replace 27 year old legacy “VISOPs” for all Alaska & Horizon operation users. Owned full product design process from vision to implementation. Designed new iOS application to replace 8 year old legacy iOS pilot application “JetPack” for all Alaska & Horizon pilots. Owned full product design process from vision to implementation. Mitigated risks related to tarmac delays by adding a new feature to “JetPack”, reducing current and future risk of multi-million dollar fines. Increased safety by complying with latest DOT requirements. Pilot Mobile application “JetPack” ranked highest score across ITs products with a Usability Score of 89.4/100 in 2022, a 3 point increase from previous year’s score of 86.4/100 (68 is industry average). Designed pilot mobile scheduling feature in “JetPack”, which reduced error rate from 25% to 11%. Improved user experience by reducing manual user input. Designed new iOS application to replace 4 year old legacy pilot application “CrossCheck” for all Alaska & Horizon pilots. Increased usability which allowed pilots to ensure they are in compliance. Increased Pilot Mobile application “CrossCheck” CSAT scores from 4.8/7 to 6.3/7. Pilot Mobile application “CrossCheck” redesign yielded a Usability Score of 86, yielding a 7.2 point increase from legacy application. Integrated Apple iOS patterns for both “CrossCheck” & “Jetpack” pilot applications to meet latest standards for quality and consistency. Interviewed, onboarded and mentored two mid level designers and one senior designer for operations team. Upgraded onboarding materials and educated designers on design and Alaska operation processes.
