I have a strong track-record of building a business from scratch, leading business operations with full P&L responsibility, as well as overseeing complex projects in remote locations across India. I have done MBA from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore as well as have advanced executive management leadership certifications from Wharton School, Haas School, UC Berkeley, and MIT Sloan School of Management. I have over two decades of strong experience in the Indian Army leading across general management, project and asset management, security, logistics and human resource management. I handled military assets worth $15M and channelled accounts worth $5M for special projects such as the renovation of infrastructure & training complexes. I am skilled in business strategy development and have strong project & project risk management experience. I am a PMP Certified professional with proven experience across project costing, estimation & budgeting, and project scheduling. I have managed business units and large projects; streamlined and improved processes; conceptualized plans, identified vulnerabilities/ exposures and mitigated risk. As CEO/ Business Head (UP) at OMC Power, a Gurgaon based renewable power company, I oversaw 200 plus solar plants and ~150 km off-grid solar based mini grids across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar states of India. I oversaw CAPEX for solar plants and 200 employees for a fledgling startup, OMC Power in the previous role. I led strategic planning and operationalisation of Solar Power Projects in India (UP & Bihar), from scratch. I spearheaded newly-raised Rashtriya Rifles battalion in a sensitive area (200 Sq. km) of J&K and successfully neutralised the insurgency threat in the area within 2.5 years. I was commissioned into “The Rajputana Rifles”, and assigned to counter the Kashmir, Punjab, Naga and Bodo insurgencies at their peak in the previous roles. I am an alumnus of JNU, National Defence Academy (NDA) and Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and possess advance diploma in German.
