Hey, I’m Juwann!I’m a Calgary-based accounting professional who’s always been drawn to fast-moving, creative teams and small businesses. I like being the person behind the scenes who makes things feel organized, accurate, and under control - especially when things get busy. I\'m all about making a difference, no matter how small. I spent 3+ years in a startup environment at ThinkTech Software, where I progressed from Accounting Specialist to Accounting Team Lead. I supported full-cycle accounting across AR, AP, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting, and worked closely with leadership to keep operations running smoothly. A few projects I’m proud of- Bank reconciliation + transaction cleanup: helped recode and clean up years of transactions in QuickBooks Online and documented a standardized process to keep it consistent going forward- Expense policy launch: led the rollout of a company-wide expense policy to improve documentation, controls, and audit readiness- Payroll system migration: supported the transition to a new payroll platform by verifying and transferring employee data to ensure accurate records and a smooth launch. More recently, I co-founded Lean and Ready Bookkeeping to help small businesses get clean, reliable books without the stress.
