I\'m a sustainability and finance professional with hands-on experience at the intersection of financial auditing and ESG assurance. At KPMG\'s ESG Expert Group, I audit the sustainability reports of Public Interest Entities (PIEs) in accordance with the CSRD – assessing the reliability and compliance of non-financial disclosures across EU Taxonomy and ESRS frameworks. In parallel, I work on financial statement audits, giving me a rare dual perspective across both financial and sustainability reporting. As Senior Associate, I lead client communication with audit mandates and contribute to the continuous development of our assurance processes and team. My academic background reflects a deliberate focus on sustainable finance: I hold an MSc in Business Administration (Finance & Taxation) from the University of Kiel, complemented by a semester at Norges Handelshøyskole (NHH) in Bergen, where I studied Sustainable Finance, Impact Investing, and quantitative methods including Big Data with Application to Finance. What I bring to the table: deep regulatory fluency across CSRD and EU Taxonomy, strong familiarity with the broader EU sustainable finance regulatory ecosystem, strong analytical skills built through high-stakes audit work, and a genuine conviction that capital allocation and financial strategy are among the most powerful levers for sustainable change. I\'m particularly drawn to the space where financial performance and real-world sustainability outcomes converge – whether in investment contexts, corporate strategy, or business development.
