I am passionate about solving complex technical problems that require persistence and creativity. I am a hardware enthusiast and am most happy when I am in the lab working with my hands. I enjoy working on software to interface with that hardware, and I code in Python daily to automate experiments and to acquire, analyze and visualize data. I was awarded the PhD degree in physics from the California Institute of Technology. I have 15+ years of experience in fields spanning cryogenics, superconductive devices, RF and microwave engineering, systems integration, and telescope instrumentation.I have excellent written and oral presentation skills, and can effectively communicate my research in broad, relatable terms to a non-technical audience as well as provide detailed technical descriptions to experts.
