ABOUT JUSTIN SAPP

I currently serve as a senior instructor and advisor at the Department of War. I recently worked at Constellis, LLC as the business development lead for conflict zones. I retired from active-duty in 2024 after serving 30 years as a Green Beret officer in the U.S. Army. My last assignment was as the Chief of Staff for the Military Staff Committee at the US Mission to the United Nations (USUN). Prior to that I was assigned to Office of the Secretary of (OSD) where I served as Chief of the Sensitive Special Operations Division. In this role, I advised the USDI on Sensitive Special Operations, which included oversight responsibility and routine briefings to the Congressional Intelligence Committees. I began my military career as an Armor officer which included assignments with 4/7 Cavalry in the Republic of Korea and in the 82nd Airborne Division. Since I have served in a variety of command and staff positions within Army Special Forces, the Asymmetric Warfare Group, Information Operations, and the Intelligence Community. Shortly after 9/11, I infiltrated Afghanistan with one of the first interagency teams to support the Northern Alliance. I have a numerous years of experience in the Middle East and Central Asia, including multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
