ABOUT JUSTIN G. VAUGHN
Justin Vaughn is a 30-year experienced attorney providing general counsel services to for-profit and non-profit businesses. He spends most of his time helping to establish, build, protect, and sell closely held businesses. After scoring in the top 1% in the country on the LSAT, Justin went to law school, where he won the prestigious Louis Powell Award as one of the top oral advocates in the country. He then launched a successful career as a litigator, where he never lost a civil jury trial. After many years of successful trial work, Justin decided to dedicate his career to helping people and companies avoid litigation. Justin now represents business owners and executives on the full range of business matters. Justin also serves on the boards of for-profit and non-profit companies to help provide business strategies and solutions. He is a speaker on business formation, non-profit and for-profit business solutions, contract and licensing rights, litigation avoidance techniques, business exit strategies, and asset and stock sales. Justin\'s practice areas involve diverse industries including aerospace, manufacturing, retail, IT, banking, construction, real estate, franchise, insurance, accountants, physicians, wealth advisers, automotive, restaurants, and government contractors. Justin has been voted Best of the Best among attorneys 27 times in Colorado and Arizona. He has also been recognized as a 5280 Magazine Five Star Services Provider. He has written legislation, published law articles and legal treatise chapters, and served on judiciary selection committees. He has also served as a local bar association chair, and as a Juvenile Court Diversion Program Judge. Justin has founded two free legal clinics, founded a branch of United Way, served on multiple charitable boards, was Chair of a Chamber of Commerce, and was President of his Rotary. He currently serves on the board of Make-A-Wish, and he serves as Past Chair of the Douglas County Community Foundation. Because of his commitment to service, Justin was honored as 2007 Philanthropist of the Year. Justin’s personal life experiences include piloting, professional scuba diving, boating, marathons, triathlons, snowboarding, motocross, and church activities.
