   Reports to the Chief Information Officer. Primary responsibilities include ensuring IM (IT) management to the INL Laboratory Agenda, priorities, strategies, and success factors. Responsible for ensuring the operational initiatives and programs are well designed, aligned to INL priorities / Laboratory Agenda and are effectively implemented. Lead a team of senior experts and provide leadership to a cross-functional team to enable large-scale enterprise-wide programs and initiatives that incorporate proactive and innovative solutions to address laboratory challenges and achieve organizational goals and objectives. Responsible for providing leadership to processes, structures and tools for program and project management across the organization and provide the governance structure to ensure continuous improvement performance management. In this role, I ensures accountability and enable the predictability of the outcomes of each transformation activity and ensures organizational alignment in the design and execution of transformation efforts. Identify and implement appropriate work structures and process to achieve goals as well as provide clear direction and priorities for staff. Ensure reward mechanisms are in place to provide the optimum level of staff engagement and minimize performance issues. Define expectations and career paths to develop staff into future state roles and responsibilities to keep pace with the evolutionary nature of information technology/management. Effectively manage change while maintaining staff effectiveness – encourage individuals to achieve their goals and at the same time hold them accountable.
