Howdy! 🤠 I\'m a paid and organic social media/ digital marketing-obsessed queer nerd that successfully grew my technology addiction into an emotionally and professionally rewarding career that\'s spanned 21 wild years (so far). I\'m also a Zero Inboxer, a writer, a pescatarian, a gaymer, a lover of Broadway, film, TV, and live music. and a Cat Daddy.I have two-plus decades of experience working both agency- and brand-side on all existing (and many decommissioned) social media networks (yes, even whatever one you\'re thinking of).Over my career I have spearheaded social media and digital strategy across a wide variety of verticals including consumer, food and beverage, B2B, education, gaming, travel and tourism, hospitality, health and wellness, pharmaceutical, non-profit, arts and institutions, architecture and design, entertainment, and tech :takes deep breath:I have also had the pleasure of running and directing large-scale social media accounts with millions of followers and leading the editorial direction and management of numerous digital publications with hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors.As social media was growing into the massive marketing channel it is today, I also worked and specialized in full-service digital and interactive, gaining tons of valuable experience in UX, content strategy, copywriting, information architecture, digital marketing, email marketing, and advertising. I also was behind some of the largest consumer Facebook pages back when that was a new thing.
