   In my current job role, I provide executive-level leadership and strategic direction to a team of 19 commercial underwriters and technical assistants in the Southwest territory of Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah. I interface with business leaders in underwriting, sales, operations, claims, and loss control to achieve profitability and corporate goals. I identify opportunities within the market and develop action plans for new and existing products, including research and development for territory expansion. Furthermore, I hold responsibility for training new personnel/regular staff training to increase skill levels and underwriting authorities. I develop a work from home program for team while managing them remotely spreading across 3 time zones.
