Responsible for the monthly/annual financial budgeting/reporting and analysis of Hurricanes Hockey (Carolina Hurricanes), as well as overseeing all financial activity of Gale Force Sports Entertainment (Lenovo Center), BB Trinity F&B, The Local restaurant, and Carolina Hurricanes Foundation. Routinely review month end journal entries within Sage Intacct and balance sheet reconciliations in Excel. Review multi-entity payroll entries for accuracy. Actively engage in cash management functions to optimize revenue and efficiency. Assist in ad hoc finance projects as needed. Oversee a team of four accounting staff and report to the CFO. Continually seeking out areas for process improvements in our existing workflows and implementing solutions that help expedite and simplify the procedures while increasing adaptability and flexibility for future enhancements as circumstances change.

I am a licensed CPA in North Carolina.
