About Justin Freeman
I’m a strategist, organizer, and cultural worker based in Brooklyn. In my role as Director of Community Affairs for NYS Assembly District 57, I design programs that turn community feedback into action—from political education and tenant organizing to job fairs and public events aligned with policy goals. I’ve helped shape cross-agency collaborations, built systems to deliver real services, and led work that connects legislative priorities to the daily lives of residents.I also co-direct Gallery Particular, where we explore how art can live in community—not just in institutions.
