ABOUT JUSTINE SMITH
Since 2014, I’ve been writing professionally as a film and cultural critic. I’ve contributed to a wide variety of publications in Canada, the USA and the UK in both English and French. Some of my regular outlets include The National Post, Roger Ebert, Cult MTL and Hyperallergic. In 2015, I was selected to be a member of the Locarno Film Festival’s Critic’s Academy. Since 2018, I’ve collaborated on the Fantasia Talk Show, affiliated with the Fantasia International Film Festival, as a host and correspondent. Since early 2019, I’ve also begun working on the Fantasia programming team.
