Technical specialist and company consultant for welding and metallurgical aspect of Ceres’ product.Accomplishments- Investigated the root cause of product failure due to premature weld rupture leading to improved welding process and re-assessment of quality specifications as part of risk mitigation strategy implemented via the 8D methodology to enhance product operational lifetime- Conducted advanced research on electrochemical failure mode and mitigated associated risks leading to the development of an enhanced product design by improving performance and operational lifetime of the product by implementing corrective solutions- Awarded with Royce ICP funding grant in collaboration with the University of Manchester for the project titled Evaluation of the inputs of design and alloy choice on the lifetime of the steel substrate for Ceres’ electrolyser and led the research project with Dr Ed Pickering as the principal academic investigator- Investigated the impact of various poisons on the degradation of the product performance and lifetime resulting in the maturation of life prediction model and leading to a publication for the European Fuel Cell Forum 2024 (EFCF)- Developed and implemented characterisation methods and re-assessed current methods to answer complex problems- Engaged with external stakeholders to reinforce strong work relationship with Universities and actively seek new collaborative opportunities as Ceres’ representative- Involved in health and safety topics including characterisation equipment ownership, maintenance and training.
