I am an exuberant, ambitious, and diligent food scientist and lover of all things edible! Food is my passion and my day-to-day consists of eating and trying new things, constantly educating myself on the current consumer trends. My other interests are in perfecting my Spanish proficiency while learning all I can about my Latinx heritage, pursuing a happy and healthy lifestyle through active activities and adventures, and sharing my love for food with others in the form of my own recipes. I have worked at a variety of jobs and internships where I have gained valuable experience. This includes product development, project management, quality assurance, food service, food production, sanitation, research, and mentorship. Each has given me the skills as not only a team member, but also as a leader that maintains focus and determination to conduct tasks and responsibilities efficiently. My future goals are to obtain a career in commercialization/product innovation and project management, keeping in mind sustainability, accessibility, and biodiversity in the food industry, and to continue traveling around the world immersing myself into the beautiful cultures of others.
