Lead legal, governance, compliance and company secretarial functions for the UK entity and deliver legal and commercial support, advice and assistance regarding live and prospective projects across ERG International Group and the UK business.• Joined the business as sole legal counsel to set up the legal function and now manage a team of four direct reports in the legal and contracts management team in London and two indirect reports based in Zurich and Istanbul.• Provide practical, commercial legal support to all business functions across the Group\'s offices, enabling the successful acquisition of new business, effective deal closure, and collaborative work with clients, suppliers, funders, international export credit agencies, ministries and governments, thereby facilitating the delivery of global infrastructure projects.• Collaborate with all business functions across the international offices. • Manage external counsels and advisors to assist in international legal aspects of cross-border projects in LATAM; West and Central Africa, MENA, Eastern Europe, the Balkans and Central Asia.• Advise and direct the legal and commercial aspects of the Turkish joint venture partnership, as the EPC Contractor, to complete the Ankara Izmir High-Speed Rail Project – the largest ever UKEF-funded project (a joint project with other European ECAs) worth £2.1bn.• Established new subsidiaries and joint ventures in the UK and internationally, including companies in Colombia, Côte D\'Ivoire, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan and involved in potential M&A deals in Italy and Turkey.
