In charge of all design initiatives across all brands. Oversee all design and innovation aspects of a company\'s products and services, including product design, graphic design, user experience design, industrial design, and package design. Also responsible for aspects of advertising, marketing, and engineering.PROJECTS:1) Consumer Appliance Product Line Recall, Revision, Update, and Relaunch — Production, QA, Marketing, R&D, Technology, Sales, OperationsI successfully worked with our offshore manufacturing, both remotely and in person, to diagnose multiple failures (mechanical, electronic, and material, and filter media) we were experiencing. Designed solutions to resolve mechanical and electrical issues, selected workable materials, modified multiple filter series to new, more cost effective specifications, completely overhauled installation kits, and designed unique new product features. All was accomplished despite constant hampering and stalling on our factories part. One new feature introduced the beginning of a pure water product ecosystem. By the conclusion, I’d minimally increased our product cost, dramatically increased sales, value, and margins, in addition to customer satisfaction. The worst product we ever launched relaunched as our most successful and popular ever to date. I also negotiated the factory into absorbing the full recall, replacement costs, retooling and molds for the updated components, and shipping and logistical costs.2. Kenmore Licensing & Product Launch (9 products) — Legal, Production, QA, Marketing, Advertising, R&D, Technology, SalesI was lead on everything but legal and logistics. Responsibilities include: Brand adhesion. All marketing, packaging, educational, instructional, and merchandising development, translation, and delivery. Website and e-com channel partners store creation. Product QA and alterations for Kenmore brand. Traveling and running meetings with top national and international retail partners.
