About Justin Compton

I am an integrated sales and marketing professional striving to create my own personal definition of balance in this unpredictable and impermanent story called life. I have had the privilege of working in the sports and entertainment industry and enjoy the pursuit of finding new areas that stimulate and challenge. After starting my career on the agency side, I spent a decade in sports media before leading corporate partnership departments for two professional teams. I currently have a first-class seat on the Playfly rocket ship redefining the intersection of sports media, marketing and partnership. I love tackling new adventures and am curious by nature. Strategy before tactics but experimentation is worth the failures. Why before How. People above all else. After 15+ years of the \"Mondays\" and working weekends, I simplified my outlook some. Leading takes different forms and being true to who you are is vital. It is sometimes done on the field and sometimes from the bench. Providing realistic expectations for all those involved is a proven sleep aid. Promote a culture that can maximize each individual\'s potential. Knowing strengths and utilizing them are the difference between good and great. Defining our personal core values might be one of the most important things we can do as humans. Each chapter in our life provides usable takeaways if we are willing to reflect, and those chapters unwritten should excite us daily. Tomorrow cannot be accomplished before satisfying today.
