The LA84 Foundation (a private, nonprofit created by the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee to manage Southern California\'s endowment from the 1984 Olympic Games)supports hundreds of non-profit youth sports organizations throughout Southern California annually, trains coaches, commissions research, convenes conferences, and maintains the world’s premier Olympic and sports library collection.The most rewarding aspect in my new role is being part of the #PlayEquity movement. For those unaware of what Play Equity is, consider yourself privileged. PE (Play Equity) is a major Social Justice issue; how kids get access and their ability to play sports should not be determined by their family’s income nor by their zip codes.I am blessed & grateful for such an opportunity.
