About Justin Almas

I help leaders and organizations navigate transition, develop people, and build trust. For over 15 years, I’ve been guiding people through some of the most significant transitions of their lives—career pivots, leadership challenges, identity shifts, and organizational change. My background as a pastor and executive leader prepared me for this work in unexpected ways- I’ve led teams through growth, crisis, and reinvention- I’ve walked alongside people at major crossroads in their careers and lives- I’ve built systems that shape not only skills, but character, at scale. Those years taught me this: leadership is a crucible for human growth. When organizations fail to develop leaders, they fail to develop people. And when leaders feel stuck, isolated, or misaligned, everything downstream suffers—teams, culture, results. That’s why I founded Field Guide Leadership: a coaching and consulting practice designed to serve both individual leaders in transition and organizations that need a more comprehensive approach to developing their people. What I do: Leadership Development Consulting – Helping organizations design and implement systems that cultivate leaders and culture. Executive Coaching – Guiding leaders through life and career transitions toward alignment, clarity, and sustainable success. Team Facilitation – Equipping leadership teams with tools for communication, trust, and performance. My approach: Rooted in experience: 15+ years as an executive pastor, community builder, and organizational leader. Human-centered: blending coaching, strategy, and facilitation with frameworks like GiANT’s 5 Voices, Peace Index, and my own Path to Purpose model. Practical and personal: clarity in the boardroom, but also courage in the living room. I believe transition isn’t a problem to solve—it’s an invitation to grow. Whether I’m working with a CEO rethinking their future, or a company reimagining how they develop people, my role is the same: to act as a field guide.
