ABOUT JUSTIN WILLIS
I am the Branch Manager/ Loan Officer at the Wilson Bank & Trust location on West End in Nashville, Tennessee. I have been with the bank since 2006 where I started out in a Management Trainee program. In that program, I worked in every department of the bank 1-2 months at a time learning the entire banking process. After completing the program, I became a Mortgage Lender in 2008. My primary focus was originating loans on the Secondary Market. In the summer of 2009, I took on the role of Assistant Office Manager. My role as a Loan Officer has grown as I now originate secondary market, in-house real estate, consumer, and commercial loans. My daily responsibilities include managing issues at the branch level, meeting with both existing and prospective customers to determine their needs, processing and approving loan applications of all types, maintaining an aggressive collections effort on past due loans, backing up our Personal Banker by explaining and opening all types of accounts, including Certificate of Deposits, assisting customers with safe deposits, check orders, staying abreast of changes/updates to bank products and policies ensuring the accuracy of information provided to customers, and promoting/referring products and services of the bank. Outside of the bank you will find me deeply involved in the community and service clubs, on the lake, at a concert or sporting event.
