ABOUT JUSTIN VILLANO
I began my professional journey within action sports at a young age, helping around local skate shops. This work naturally progressed to floor associate, supervisor and management positions which further developed my skillset to ultimately own my own retail business for a number of years. Through my own business, I was fortunate enough to create relationships at Vans, which led to my first job opportunity at the brand as the sales representative of the New England territory. By delivering results and sustainable year over year growth, I was able to progress within the brand becoming Sales Manger and eventually making the jump to marketing as Sr. Manager of Action Sports Brand and Product Marketing. Through a positive work output I grew into the Director of Action Sports Brand Management for the Americas region which consists of Canada, U.S, Mexico, Central & South America. Today I am the Global Director of Marketing for Action Sports at Vans. My daily focus is driving the business through authentic and aspirational marketing initiatives across product and brand.
