I am a data analytics professional focused on developing business solutions in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. My approach is informed by my experience working on a variety of projects in research and operations, ranging from qualitative case studies to big data analytics. In recent years, I have emphasized strengthening my skills in the development of data visualizations and reporting tools. This has included the development of web-based tools for data collection and management, and engineering ETL pipelines to integrate structured and semi-structured data into warehouse tables for reporting and analytics.I am a Certified ScrumMaster, and in my current role as decision support manager I provide reporting and analytics services to staff and executive leaders across several divisions in an organization with approximately staff, clients, and various external partners. Depending on the situation, I am capable of assisting in the development of research questions, defining business problems, or designing and implementing business intelligence solutions. I am a deliberative and analytical thinker that excels when challenged with a substantive problem, especially one that requires me to learn something new. I am able to work collaboratively with agency staff and executive leaders, and I have established and maintain working relationships with IT technical experts and project managers. Among other accomplishments, my recent efforts led to the implementation of a light-weight software application that replaced a paper-based incident reporting system. I am also regularly called upon to design and develop dashboards and reporting tools to support agency initiatives like increasing employee retention and improving the management of complex workflows.
