I\'m a Staff Software Engineer with over a decade of experience across data engineering, backend systems, and platform work. I tend to do well in situations where there\'s something underinvested or undefined - where the job is partly figuring out what needs to be built before building it. A lot of my work has centered on data quality and analytics infrastructure: making sure the numbers people rely on are actually trustworthy, establishing ownership and monitoring where there wasn\'t any, and building tooling that fits the specific domain rather than reaching for generic solutions. I\'ve also done platform foundation work, such as proposing and building out data lakes, operationalizing ML models, designing low-latency microservices, up-leveling testing and observability. I\'ve also led small teams and cross-functional efforts where the work involved as much coordination and alignment as it did coding.
