Responsible for the entire Halfords own brand design, development and future innovation across all categories; this is and has been a pivotal role in driving forward Halfords plans for growth in cycling- Complete accountability for all the design, development, project management and strategic planning of all new design projects- Working within and managing multi disciplined and cross functional teams, bringing new product to market on time, within budgets, and delivering long term sales growth and incremental margins- Providing leadership, guidance and mentor-ship- Being the voice of the customer, translating their needs into strong, exciting and commercial products- Evaluating vendors, sourcing new ideas and products and managing key vendor relationships- Responsible for multiple brands, including Carrera, Voodoo, Boardman, Pendleton, Apollo and others- Use of 3D CAD (Solidworks)
