Key member of the U.S. Men\'s Gymnastics Bronze medal-winning team at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. My competitive gymnastics career spanned a full 21 years and 9 orthopedic surgeries. Other career highlights include winning parallel bars at the 2008 Visa Championships and 2 U.S. horizontal bar titles (2005 and 2007). I was honored to earn 3 All-American titles from 2003-06 at the University of Illinois. As a senior, I was awarded the coveted Nissen-Emery Award (Heisman trophy of gymnastics) and was named the Big 10 Gymnast of the Year.
