ABOUT JUSTIN SOURIAU-LEVINE
Justin Souriau-Levine is a director, producer, writer, cinematographer, editor and actor known for his most recent award winning feature film \"Planet of the Astronauts\"(2022), which had its world premiere at the Director\'s Guild of America in New York City, and a Northeastern theatrical release thereafter;\"The Greatest Race\"(2021), and his latest epic feature film “Back to the Present\"(2025) which is currently mid-production. He is also the Founder and CEO of Justin Souriau-Levine Studios, with which he has produced a half dozen commercials (such as “The Date” and “A Sonogram to Remember” for Vosita Healthcare) and in-house runway videography services for companies such as Global Fashion Collective, in addition to an array of independent feature films.Souriau-Levine is currently one of the most exciting emerging filmmakers in the motion picture industry. He was nominated for Best Director of 2022 and 2023 by Film Threat’s \"Award This!\", while his feature film “Planet of the Astronauts” won the award for Best Movie Made for Under $100k (2023), while simultaneously receiving a nomination for Best Indie Movie of the Year (2023). In 2022, he was an Artist in Residence at Harvard University, in addition to being appointed as Vice President of the jury for the acclaimed francophone theatre festival “Festival Première Scène” at the LFNY Cultural Center, alongside Jean Reno, the jury’s President and Ambassador. Souriau-Levine’s audiovisual portfolio currently includes 3 feature films, 6 commercials, dozens of branded content deliverables, and 32 short films.Having made his stage debut with American Ballet Theatre in 2010, Souriau-Levine performed with the country\'s national ballet company for 9 years, at the Metropolitan Opera House and Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, in addition to Washington DC\'s historic Kennedy Center, Orange County\'s Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Tokyo\'s Bunkamura and Bunkai Kaikan Theaters, and Brooklyn\'s BAM Theater among others; incarnating dozens of featured roles/characters across hundreds of performances. During his time at American Ballet Theater, he was featured by the New York Times, Fox 5 News, Pointe Magazine, Town & Country Magazine and Dance Spirit Magazine; participated in the NASDAQ opening and closing bell ceremonies at the New York Stock Exchange; and was highly acclaimed by the Washington Post, LA Times, Wall Street Journal, Tokyo Shimbun, Haglund\'s Heal, Dance Magazine, New York Times. He was awarded \"Best Child Performer\"(2011) and \"Best Performances\"(2012) by Dance Magazine.
