About Justin Scott
I am a project manager for SRF with 17 years of consulting experience in a variety of freight planning and transportation policy analysis projects. I have a multimodal freight project background, including project management experience conducting long-range transportation plans, state and regional freight plans, truck route policy analysis, railroad crossing safety and quiet zone planning, regional corridor studies, economic impact, and commodity flow analysis. My most recent project management experience has included leading the completion of several FAST Act compliant state freight plans and regional freight cluster studies, as well as highway and bicycle and pedestrian centric railroad grade crossing safety studies. I am passionate about engaging private sector freight stakeholders in the planning process. I helped to develop the NHI Guidebook Engaging the Private Sector in Freight Transportation Planning and also developed a freight planning guidebook for MPO planners that will help them integrate freight into their existing local planning process.
