Responsible for leading analysis, design and development of electric motor drive and power supply systems for DuXion’s electric propulsion technologies. The major responsibilities for the Electrical Systems Lead include the followings: Design a suitable drive configuration for the motor and associated rotating machines Develop sensor-based or sensorless controller for the motor drive Implement fault-tolerant capability in the control algorithm Collaborate with the motor design team to optimize the motor drive system Investigate the effect of EMI induced by the drive system, and design an EMI filter, if necessary Perform multi-physics optimization of the motor drive by working with other team members Design of embedded systems (hardware and software)
