About Justin Rose

I currently work as an Analyst with Kimley-Horn, where I work in Surface Water. In my current role, I work under the supervision of a senior engineer, designing drainage and erosion control plans using Microstation or ORD and several analysis programs. I have experience working in NC, SC, MN, and OH, including design-build with MnDOT. I am a certified Engineer Intern (EI) and also posses my NCDOT E & SC Level certification. I have successfully passed the Professional Engineering Exam and will be applying for my license in Summer 2023. I\'m a graduate of East Carolina University, where I graduated summa cum laude, with a B.S. in Engineering, in 2020. I also obtained a B.S. in Meteorology from NC State in 2016, where I graduated with honors. I previously worked as a broadcast meteorologist/reporter, where I learned to communicate science and other technical information to the general public. I am proficient in MicroStation, ORD, FlowMaster, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, HY-8, GEOPAK Drainage, PCSWMM, and various State DOT hydraulics programs.
