Responsible for system planning and project development of ONEOK’s Natural Gas Gathering & Processing assets in the Bakken (North Dakota & Montana), Powder River (Wyoming), and Mid-Continent (Oklahoma) basins. Projects handled by my group consistent of gas processing plants, compressor stations, high pressure discharge pipelines, and low-pressure gathering pipelines.Team responsibilities include:• Identifying system constraints with assistance from the pipeline hydraulics group as well as in-house analytical tools.• Working with Operations and Engineering to scope system optimization projects.• Developing gathering system volume forecasts based on producer provided drill schedules as well as state reported flare data.• Tracking month-over-month volume changes across the system forecasts and determining the impact those changes have on projects being scoped.• Performing bi-annual type curve analysis of expected well performance based on publicly available data (S&P Global) as well as ONEOK flow data.• Creating Level 1 (+/- 20%) project estimates to confirm high level project viability.• Initiating and facilitating Level 3 (AFE quality) estimates via Construction for pipeline projects and Engineering for facility projects.• Performing and / or assisting in creating an economic analysis for each project.• Facilitating funding requests with the creation of white papers or slide decks for senior leadership review.• Managing funding approvals via GPC / Planview Portfolios.• Forecasting estimated spend of projects to ensure alignment with budgeted growth funding for the NGGP segment.• Performing project lookbacks to compare estimated project spend versus actual spend and determine the cause of variances.• Tracking installed field compression and facilitating movement of underutilized units as needed to ensure gas capture targets.• Tracking and providing recommendations for facility inventory (i.e. compressors, station header systems, dehys, MCCs, etc.).
