ABOUT JUSTIN R. HOOVER
I have worked at Highmark since 2001 and spent the bulk of my career in the Open Solutions dept for 15 years. Most recently my current role is Manager of the Cloud Engineering and Operations team where I lead a group of cloud engineers building the automation of the future in our public cloud space. I\'ve been a Datacenter Operator, Systems Programmer, Architect and Team Manager. In the past I was the subject matter expert for many technologies which include but limited to: Redhat Enterprise Linux OS, RedHat Satellite, Redhat OpenShift Platform (Micro Services/Containers), SAN/NFS/CFS Storage, Cisco ACI Networking & UCS, VMware vSphere, NSX, vRealize vRA & vRO, Terraform, Ansible Tower, and Gitlab. I have certifications in Redhat Certified Engineer & Google\'s Cloud Certified Professional Architect.My duties also include participation in the company\'s architect roundtable discussions and also strategic planning forums to help provide for a more structured and stable IT organization. I currently manage a team of engineers to create \'Perfect Days\' for our customers!
