About Justin Phelps

The Phelps family has been in the Petroleum Industry for (4) generations. Alvin Phelps Sr, worked for Standard Oil Company in the early 1900s. He founded Phelps Pump Service in 1939. Alvin Phelps Jr, would eventually take over the company and change the name to A Phelps Petroleum. Since starting with the company, we have expanded A Phelps Petroleum into many new markets and now have locations in Panama City, FL and Tallahassee,FL.I love what I do for a living and am very dedicated to making sure that A Phelps Petroleum is not only an outstanding, efficient business, but also a great workplace for our employees. I love being able to provide the economy with many, quality jobs and plan to be able to provide many more jobs in the future.

We pride ourselves on having the very best technicians in the industry, providing high quality service on POS Equipment, Dispensers, Tank Monitoring Systems and Fuel Management Systems. A Phelps Petroleum also performs installation of Underground Storage Tanks, Lube Systems, Generator Fuel Supply Systems, and Bulk Fueling Facilities. We also take care of all permitting and testing. We offer turnkey development of your facility, as well as custom design/build capabilities. Our construction department will work with you to determine the most profitable and efficient approach to your project. From service stations, to municipalities, to marinas, A Phelps Petroleum has provided quality construction services since 1939. We are fully licensed and insured in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. A Phelps Petroleum is also a fully licensed and insured Mechanical Contractor.
