About Justin Parker

I am currently pursuing a Radio-Television-Film (RTF) degree with a specialization in Event Videography at Austin Community College, while also majoring in Public Administration at Texas State University with a minor in Political Communications. I am the small business owner of Parker Film House, an independent film production and editing company.I have extensive cinematography experience with the United States Navy, where I served as a camera operator, photographer, videographer, and as a live-stream broadcast technician, also produced and edited promotional videos. Additionally, I produced promotional content for a New Braunfels political candidate. My event coverage includes major events like ACL 2024, The Texas Tribune Festival 2024, and the Boston Celtics’ 2020 Season Opener.Currently, I work as a multimedia producer for ACC’s ACCENT Student Media, and I serve as Director of Communications for the Texas Democratic Party’s Black Caucus, where I am responsible for producing content for social media and covering various events.Outside of film, I am deeply engaged in my community. I served as a City Commissioner for Austin on the College Student Commission, addressing issues like affordable housing and transportation. I was also elected as a DNC member, serving as National Vice President for the College Democrats of America. Currently, I am a Precinct Chair for the Travis County Democratic Party and have worked on the Colin Allred for Senate campaign. My political experience extends to serving as a Youth Advisor to Queensborough President Donovan Richards, and I have interned for Congressman Lloyd Doggett (TX) and Senator Chris Murphy (CT) in both chambers of Congress.As an aspiring filmmaker, I am passionate about event and sports videography and eager to further develop my production and scriptwriting skills. Based in Austin, Texas, I am open to relocating for new opportunities.

ACBSP Accreditation – Our program is ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs) which accredits quality business programs across the globe. ACBSP focuses on teaching excellence, student learning outcomes, and continuous improvement. It is focused on student-centered teaching and learning.
