I\'m an actuary and investment strategist specializing in defined benefit (DB) asset allocation and risk management. I started my career performing traditional pension actuarial duties including funding/accounting valuations, benefit calculations and assumptions studies. Since 2012 I have focused exclusively on institutional investment strategy, with a heavy focus on asset/liability forecasting, thought leadership and risk management solutions.I enjoy the beautiful Pacific NW by mountain biking, backpacking and camping with my adventurous wife and five children. We have explored 30 national parks together.
