In my role as Manager, Global Security, I have responsibility for the functions listed below. Headquarters Security: Responsible for security operations at Corporate Headquarters and the National Logistics Center, consisting of thirty-five proprietary security personnel across two geographic locations, in the protection of people, critical operations and infrastructure.Global Security Operations Center (GSOC):A critical component of the Global Security Department, the GSOC is operated 24/7/365 by Security Analysts trained to assess and disseminate information from a variety sources, in order to provide situational awareness, support real-time crisis management, and mitigate risk to Cardinal Health assets. Additionally, the GSOC provides facility and business leaders with immediate support or escalation during security events, investigations, and business disruptions. The team consists of 9 full-time Analysts and a Supervisor at HQ and 4 full-time Analysts in Bangalore, India. Our scope spans more than 40 countries, 700+ physical assets, and ~500 travelers per day. Headquarters Executive Protection:Responsible for mitigating risk to the Chairman of the Board, CEO, Section 16 Officers, Board of Directors, Executive Leadership Team, and other designated personnel through the application of risk avoidance, personnel, and technology measures in Dublin, OH.Community Outreach:Co-founder of Cardinal Health’s Veteran Professional Advancement Course (VPAC) in 2012, I led the program from its inception until 2019. VPAC still proudly serves current and former military and their spouses as a trusted resource for career transition assistance. The VPAC program was instrumental in Cardinal Health being awarded numerous honors, including the Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award, which is the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their support of the Guard and Reserve.
