I am a Co-Founder and the CEO of Scope - where we are on a mission to dramatically increase the operational safety of critical rope applications by getting the right data to to the right people in real-time, before a catastrophic event occurs. The failure of critical rope applications is frequently the result of the inadequate visual inspection that is standard best practice in so many industries - Construction, Maritime Mooring, Mining, Oil & Gas / Drilling, the list goes on. When these ropes fail, people lose their lives and companies lose their reputations. At Scope, we address the safety of these critical rope applications with the latest advancements technology has to offer. We are currently focused on Electric Utility Construction and Maintenance where we are equipping operators with the ability to know the break strength of their pulling lines - without actually breaking them. This means no more \"educated guesses\" on whether or not the line is fit for service.    As Co-Founder and CEO of Scope, I identified and pursued a significant market opportunity within the electric utility sector by pioneering the use of deep learning and computer vision technologies to enhance the visual inspection of critical stringing lines. These lines are integral in deploying miles of power lines, and our innovative approach aimed at dramatically improving operational safety and efficiency.I cultivated strategic relationships with visionary early customers, closely collaborating to understand their precise operational needs, which led directly to the successful creation and development of our initial product. My responsibilities encompassed comprehensive oversight of product innovation, coordinating seamlessly across multidisciplinary teams comprising seasoned software engineers, machine learning specialists, hardware engineers, and customer success professionals.Under my leadership, Scope successfully raised three rounds of external investment (Angel, Seed, Series A), demonstrating strong investor confidence and validating our market potential. Additionally, I spearheaded our sales and marketing efforts, which included extensive educational initiatives aimed at familiarizing stakeholders with our transformative technology.Currently, I am guiding the development of our second product, an in-line inspection solution designed to integrate directly into the stringing process. This innovative tool ensures continuous monitoring as lines are deployed, significantly enhancing operational safety. Ultimately, our mission at Scope is clear and ambitious: to ensure every pull is a safe pull, consistently, and reliably across every industry.
