ABOUT JUSTIN MACPHERSON

Originally from Nova Scotia, I have always had a passion for the environment as a lot of my days were spent near, on or in the ocean. I was always surrounded by lush forest and hard workers growing up. Ultimately it become a passion of mine to succeed in a career that was/is environmentally helpful for the present and future alike. I moved to Alberta in 2007 and began my journey in the Oil and Gas industry working throughout various trades and learning from some of the best around the world. I am a strong believer in knowledge is power and I have always been a hands on, innovative thinker when it comes to challenges. The gears in my mind are always turning and thinking of ways to improve anything I possibly can within our business. Once I started in the Water and Waste Water Treatment Industry I knew this was/is a career a would like to chase. I have goals for both myself and the industry that I would like to see met someday, sooner than later. Any help I can be, I want to be. To date I have worked with some of the brightest, intelligent, innovative problem solving individuals and groups in which has been making myself a better asset within the industry. I have been in the field for most of my career and take each day as a time to learn something new. I am slowly transitioning into the office and learning new skills along with passing along my knowledge that I have and continue to gain as the days go by. I have had supervisor and project managing jobs with very successful companies and take pride in being able to work with many types of people. Everyone is different just like every challenge within our jobs and we must ensure we are continuing to learn and work towards new, fun, exciting and welcoming ways to make that good connection.
