About Justin M. Sweet
From Ford’s revolutionary assembly line to Toyota\'s development of the Toyota Production System (TPS), companies continuously seek opportunities to drive a competitive advantage and increase shareholder value. Opportunities for innovation, increased efficiency, and overall improvement are always there, waiting to be uncovered. The key is knowing how to find them and how to lead the transformation.Starting with my education – an MBA in Global Supply Chain Management, strengthened by GE’s world class Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) – and continuing with my career choices, I’ve sought the skills necessary to become a transformational leader, driving Operational Excellence through Lean, TPM, and Integrated Work Systems (IWS). When I left GE for an opportunity in consulting, it was to gain experience and exposure to leading practices across a variety of industries—from consumer products to industrial manufacturing and from pharmaceuticals to oil and gas. At EY, I’ve worked on a specialized team that deploys P&G’s Integrated Work Systems into Fortune 500 companies. IWS leverages P&G’s global manufacturing methodologies, tools, and analytics premised on TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and High Performing Work Systems.
