LA Foundation Repairs is run by a 4th generation pier and beam foundation repair contractor and we specialize in lifting and leveling pier and beam foundations in Lafayette, LA and the surrounding areas. If you are in a flood zone and need your home lifted to meet the local base flood elevation, or simply want to raise your pier and beam home to allow your foundation to breathe, give us a call at 33••••••00.In addition to lifting and leveling homes, we also relevel homes at their current elevation. We bring your home\'s existing foundation to an even plane plus or minus 1/4\". If we see a need for more structural support or damaged structural members, we can take care of that for you too. Often times older homes have floor joists that are spread too far apart with a lack of support under the load bearing walls which causes the subfloor to start to fail. After releveling the home, there may be additional work that needs to be done to the foundation to get the walls and flooring system where you want it to be. These problems and concerns can be addressed, but generally not a part of the original quote as every home reacts differently to the shifting foundation.
