ABOUT JUSTIN LABRASCA
Helping people and solving problems. These were the two concepts that kept playing in my head over and over again while I was deciding on what I wanted to do with my life. No matter which pathway I started down it always came full circle to these two simple philosophies. I began my educational career pursuing a degree in Bioinformatics, because what better way to help people and solve problems than through science! However, I quickly found that I was missing a key component to my equation, and that was interacting with people. A personality test revealed I am an ENTJ. Basically, the first piece of my personality is that I am an extrovert so I get my energy from working, talking, and being around others. Those long hours working in a lab by myself leaving me drained, suddenly started to make a whole lot of sense. I quickly decided this was not the career path for me. Weeks of soul searching and a mild existential crisis later, one that I am sure many college students are familiar with, lead me to the field of Human Resources. With the field of HR continuing to grow and shift towards a data driven and strategic business partner; I find my analytical mind, extroverted personality, and personal love for helping people and solving problems finding that perfect balance. I am proud to say that I have found my calling!
